Skivka Larysa

Skivka Larysa – (date of birth – 17 December 1964 in Kyiv, Ukraine) – graduated from the Faculty of Biology, Kyiv University in 1989. She worked at the Institute of Experimental Pathology, Oncology and Radiobiology, named after R.E. Kavetsky NAS of Ukraine. In 1993 she defended her PhD thesis on "Immunomodulatory action of laser radiation in malignant skin melanoma". Since 2002 – Assistant Professor, since 2008 – Associate Professor of the Department of Microbiology and General Immunology, Faculty of Biology, Kyiv University. Since 2013 – Professor, Head of the Department of Microbiology and General Immunology, Faculty of Biology, Taras Shevchenko University of  Kyiv.

The main area of ​​research is bacterial immunomodulation in tumor growth, adjuvant cancer therapy. Reads special courses "Immunochemistry", "Physicochemical methods of research", "Immunology of reproduction".

She has 62 scientific papers, 4 author's certificates.
